The Position







Clinical Program Managers plan, organize, implement and direct one or more mental health, intellectual disabilities, and/or child development service delivery programs by establishing goals, objectives, policies, and procedures; monitoring and evaluating program performance; developing and monitoring budgets; integrating programs with other state and community services; and supervising clinical and administrative staff, typically including licensed Psychologists and/or subordinate supervisors of professional clinicians.









Clinical Program Manager II's work in a single program or cluster of programs, which are relatively large and complex. The Nevada DIVISION OF CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICES (DCFS) is seeking applicants with a passion to make a difference in the lives of Nevada's youth and their families. We currently have an opening for a Clinical Program Manager II with Community Services, Northern Nevada Child and Adolescent Services, in Reno, Nevada. This position is responsible for the Early Childhood Mental Health Services, Children's Clinical Services, Outpatient Medication Clinic/Psychiatric Services and Center Management for the Outpatient Clinics for Northern Nevada Child and Adolescent Services in Reno. This position is responsible for the Wraparound in Nevada (WIN) Program Statewide, and will manage the Northern, Southern and Rural regions for WIN. This position ensures compliance with State and Federal laws, State and DCFS policy, monitors the quality of mental health services rendered, monitors and supports development of agency budgets, develops processes, policies and procedures.









This is a full-time position that will include a variable work agreement which may include hours outside of 8AM- 5PM, depending on the agency needs, with overtime after 40 hours per week. The State of Nevada and DCFS offer an excellent benefits package that includes health, dental and vision insurance, participation in the Public Employees Retirement System (PERS), accrual of 15 days of annual and 15 days of sick leave, 11 paid holidays and no city, county, state or social security tax. DCFS also encourages education by providing on-going trainings and paid release time for staff to obtain CEU's.

In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:

















Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)











A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in clinical psychology, clinical social work, counseling, or a curriculum related to the option(s) identified, and four years of post-Master's degree professional experience in a human service delivery setting two of which included the development, management and/or oversight of program budgets, and one of which included supervision of professionals in the option(s) identified; OR a Doctoral degree (Ph.D or Psy.D) from an accredited college or university in clinical psychology clinical social work, counseling, or a curriculum related to the option(s) identified and three years of experience as described above, two of which included the development, management and/or oversight of program budgets and one of which included supervision of professionals in the option(s) identified; OR two years of experience as a Clinical Program Manager I in Nevada State service.























Special Requirements











A State of Nevada/FBI background check will be required of the selected applicant.
