Job Title: Fraud Customer Service Representative

Location: Las Vegas Area, Nevada

Department: Fraud Operations

Industry: Financial Services

Type: Full time, permanent role - direct employee of my client

Hours: With you receive a 40 hour work schedule, and will be eligible for OT

Compensation: Base + OT + discretionary monthly bonus (in addition to benefits, vacation days, 401K, etc)

The team you will be going is primarily responsible for the protection of a customer's identity. Additionally, the protection of any fraudulent activities on any of the bank's accounts.

An overall summary of the department goes as follows:

  • Responsible for the inbound and outbound calls with customers and other departments to minimize the fraudulent activity on accounts
  • This is not a sales position
  • Responsible for the review of accounts that exhibit signs of suspicious activity from various transaction alerts.
  • Responsible for the investigation of the reported suspicious activity on the account, and ensure the individual is not held responsible for this fraudulent activity. And, ensure the right activities are taking place to minimize the risk and maximize the recover
  • Protect the customers from any deposit fraud by reviewing transactions activity

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the customer service by speaking with customers via inbound and outbound calls
  • On a daily basis, review credit applications to help determine the accuracy and validity of the provided data
  • Review customer accounts to decide if there is a possibility for fraudulent activity
  • Responsible for assigned tasks and projects as provided
  • Update any information in the system as required
  • Document conversations with customers
  • Complete audit documentation


  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience is required
  • Call Center experienced is preferred
  • Experience working in Fraud is preferred
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Comfortable working on a computer daily
